I am a Sussex artist & since completing my Fine Art Painting degree in Leicester, I have continued to sketch & paint, exhibiting regularly in both group & solo exhibitions including having work selected & exhibited for the National Open Art exhibition & Community Arts exhibitions at Pallant House Gallery.

Contemporary watercolour is my passion, inspired by landscapes & nature as well as the wonderful watercolour works of Turner, Dufy & Klee and the vibrant semi abstract work of Howard Hodgkin and Ivon Hitchens. I particularly love experimenting with different techniques which is reflected in the more recent botanical watercolour & acrylic print pieces.

Last year I was delighted to be the second artist in residence at Denmans Garden just outside of Arundel spending a year keeping a visual diary of this beautiful garden as it changed throughout the seasons.

I  am very fortunate that my relationship with Denmans has continued as I give monthly creative watercolour workshops on an ongoing basis with the key focus on exploring and experimenting with a variety of water-based media in a relaxed, friendly environment.
